According to the report of the Human Rights Organization in Iran, this Christian citizen was living in Malaysia and in 2017, due to the prolonged processing of his asylum case, the disordered economic situation and the loneliness of his parents due to old age, he returned to Iran. The Human Rights Organization in Iran added that Mrs. Saati was under pressure many times after her return to Iran and was interrogated by the security forces many times.
According to published reports, Ms. Saati has been denied access to medical facilities and specialized examinations, and concerns about her health have intensified.
Amnesty International added in its report that the government has denied many prisoners access to necessary health facilities. The Article 18 organization has repeatedly reported about the lack of access to medical facilities for imprisoned Christians, including Mina Khajovi.
